my little man is 2/3 of a year old...

REALLY? Where has the time gone...I can NOT believe Tyler is 8 months old. Last week we went to the doctor and Tyler is a whopping 20 pounds 13 ounces and 28.5 inches long. Big boy....I love every inch if this solid little man. He is always happy, and can crack a smile at any given moment. I am pretty sure his first word is dog, he says it as he chooses when looking at Bailey...not yet on command..

His current....LOVES:
Bath time
food...
Bailey our dog
Toys
Sitting
other babies
Fake sneezes
Eskimo kisses
sleeping
camping
his vitamins...crazy kiddo :)
talking.loudly.a lot.
Mom's singing...

His current....NOT so much LOVES:
Puffs
the bottle/sippy/cup...etc...yes...still...
crawling
teething...still no teeth here

We love you little man...with big fat huge hearts...

im here...im here!

So I have had a lot on my mind lately and keep thinking, I need to write this down somewhere to get it OFF my mind...well...here goes!

I can not stop thinking of all of those suffering in Haiti...it breaks my heart and is so heart wrenching to see the numbers of deaths....over 150,000 is the last I heard...I just think of all those adults and children that had their innocent life taken away from them in the matter of minutes and I can't help but think of my little man and how if anything happened to him I don't know if I could go on. I love my husband for MANY reasons, but one big one recently is the fact that he is always a giver...ALWAYS...whenever any type of disaster happens he is the first to find out how he can give anything. Usually he doesn't even tell me, I find out when I tell him (we need to send money or supplies to .....) and he says, 'oh I did last week, when I first heard...to the Red Cross...my usual donation.' Makes me happy to know I definitely married the most humble person with the biggest heart. The best part is that his work matches whatever you donate...not many companies are doing this anymore...glad to see some can still give.

On to happier things...last month I got me a pair of these, after hearing about this awesome company that gives a pair of shoes to a child in need with every purchase...how flippin cool is that! Every.single.time. I wear them I think of that. We need more companies like this in the world. Oh...and...they are THE most comfortable shoes EVER....I mostly wear them around the house...highyl recommend...go buy a pair. now. :)

These next topics go into a whole new category....

Thanks to good ole' facebook, which I hardly have time for anymore...sad...I am totally addicted to The Bachelor and Jersey Shore...seriously...yes...I know...embarrassing....especially embarrassing since I really DO NOT ever watch TV....before last week....I honestly probably have not turned on the TV in over 9 months...and now I am watching those two shows...really??? Ugh...I stayed up until 1:30 last night watching the 3 episodes of The Bachelor... AND...because I am a freak and have to do everything in order...I watched the first 3 episodes of Jersey Shore on my COMPUTER...I have never done this...what is happening to me. And...why do I think Ronnie is hot...ewwww...I had to see what all the hype is about...because umm....every 3rd status update last night was about the stupid Bachelor and last week every 2nd status update was about the Jersey Shore...I am not a sucker...nope, not at all.

I downloaded 10 books onto my kindle...super bad idea because now I can't decide which ones to read...I have major ADD now and because I know I have 10 books on it...if I get bored in the middle of a chapter I will leave it and go read another book...sooooo....nooooottt...like me. I am an orderly freak...I mean, I have a stack of about 26 magazines dating back to September...that I placed in order by date and have to read in.order. Freak. I know...so right now I am reading about 'sending the kids back to school - September' and my gossip mags are talking about 'Tiger Wood's crash and is there 'a mistress'" hmmph well...we all know there isn't just 'a' mistress..but...I still have to read it...Is anyone else like this? Please tell me if you are, because I have a little bit of an OCD problem when it comes to things like this...eeek

We FINALLY decided to sell our condo in Aliso Viejo...it has been a rental for over 2 years and lately has been nothing but problems...since we left, we have been through...

*4 sets of tenants...yeah, do the math...one was there for 2 whole months...anyway...
*1 fire which destroyed the entire patio and the neighbors patio...and the other neighbors patio...
*1 major dishwasher leak which caused damage to the downstairs neighbor
*14 light bulbs changed...random right...well yes, we did have THAT tenant that called us to freaking replace lightbulbs...WTF...oh and smoke detector batteries...don't get me started
*3 dogs (2 of which we didn't know about..aka they didn't tell us so they wouldn't have to pay higher deposit)
*$$,$$$$ all the $$ we lost keeping the stupid place thinking the 'market was definitely going to go up'

Let me tell YOU 'Condo' I am so glad to be done with you...you have been nothing but a headache since the day we bought you...good riddance. 29 more days until freedom....at least you only took ONE day to sell...you did something right.

I read that book 'Love you, Forever' to Tyler the other night...and totally 100% cried...I haven't cried since he was born...I know...weird...but this book got me...wow...not sure when I will be ready to read it again...

And because every single day I fall more and more in love with this little man...here is a little something from him to you...his new trick. I often think what in the world did we do before him...he totally completes us...I LOVE YOU SON, more than you will EVER know! :)

letters to someone...

Ok, so one of my blog friends does this and it cracks me up all the time...today, I could literally write 30 letters, but I will keep it to 4.5...for my sanity...

Dear Lovely West Highland Terrier of ours,

I know that you love to bark, its in your nature...blah blah....and I know that the shock collar we got you isn't your favorite accessory. However, it is absolutely necessary. Especially when your little brother just went down for a nap and you continue to keep him awake. I am not quite sure why you continue to bark even after you have been shocked. Please, please do not make me get a more powerful collar. It already breaks my heart to see you jump. On another note...I know you were an only child for 3 long years and I know you were spoiled rotten...however...there is a new kid in town and I apologize for the neglect lack of attention...however, this does not mean it is okay to urinate on the carpet.

Your faithful owner,
That girl who yells at you everyday

PS- Lets drop the 'shake' thing in the middle of the night, eh? Mucho Gracias...

back when it was all about you..

Dear Plastic Bag,

Thank you for keeping my child occupied for 30 minutes today. I know he tore you to shreds, and I laughed watched the whole time, I appreciate your sacrifice today and allowing me to get some work done. Even though you are quite loud and sometimes annoying when being rustled around...I assure you you brought peace to at least 2 people today. You were my last resort, and in desperate measures....yes, I used you. Please do not call the CPS on me....

Your faithful shopper and plastic bag recycler,
Desperate Mom

Dear Post office worker lady,

I understand you had a very long day today, I also understand I came in at 5:45 and you close at 6. I am was just as grumpy as you were when i walked in and saw 24 people in line...yes there really were 24...I counted each of them...in my boredom. However, I do not think you need to take your time, running back to the back room 10 times in the middle of my transaction to find tape...for yourself. I did not need tape...was this an excuse to get away and avoid helping people? You are lucky I am not the type of person to call and complain...its been too long of a day to even think about that.

Faithfully,
The girl who always comes in with her items separated by weight to make YOUR job easier ;)

Dear New Year,

I am really glad you are here...lets hope you bring us lots of joy. Your brother, 2009, yeah he was ok to deal with...I can't complain too much, but I really hope you have a lot more in store for us this year. I have high hopes for you. Please don't let me down...

Lets celebrate,
Anti-Resoultionist

Dear Teeth,

Please. come. in. soon.

Truly,
Mom and Little T
