My poor baby girl...I am just now posting her 5 and 6 month updates! Brielle, when you are old enough to read this please know mommy has just been SUPER busy this month and has spent all of her free time with you and your brother!! Eeeeekkk!! NOT going to say 2nd child syndrome...not going to do it! :)
I mean look at this peanut head...wouldn't you spend every waking moment with her if you could?? She is PRETTY darn amazing...
So this little peanut is so.much.more. active than her older brother was at her age....mind you Tyler's crib was still elevated to the highest point when he was a year old...yup...that boy never even pulled himself up to stand until he was well over a year old and didn't even pull himself up to sit OR crawl...this girl...TOTALLY active...as you can see from the pictures above. She is all.over.the.place, and I love it. I put her in the 'magic chair' and within 30 seconds she has either rolled herself on out or scooted her way down and turned over...lazy Tyler would literally lay there as long as we let him..silly goose.
Brielle is the happiest baby I have ever met...totally not biased...I have yet to meet a happier one...she laughs like no other at her brother. Tyler can just be walking down the hall boppin' his head around and she thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread... belly laughing like crazy. Heath and I just look at each other cracking up watching her in such awe of her big brother...
She rolls across the room in seconds and flips around, pushes her self up, you name it..this babe is growing up WAY too fast for me. She is super easy going and guess what...in case I haven't said it before...she takes the bottle like a champ! That alone is a huge deal in this family...let me tell ya!
She has converted to a side/tummy sleeper and it freaks mommy out...I sleep with the monitor inches from my head on full blast and find myself waking up several times a night to check on her. I really dislike the fact that she prefers burrowing her head into the mattress and sleeping like that...really girl? Don't you know how crazy paranoid your mother is??
The only complaint {not even complaining} I have about you, little miss Brielle is that you HATE the car. This puts a damper on our little traveling fam here....I haven't figured out if she get's car sick or just hates being strapped in, facing the back seat, traveling backward...I mean...who WOULD like that? We also can't seem to get rid of that eczema in her arm and leg creases :( Her chest is MUCH better and her head is normal again, but the poor thing in her creases gets SO red and itchy....I have been debating getting her blood drawn for the allergy test...ugh.
Another thing this baby girl does is put EVERYTHING in her mouth. We never dealt with that with Tyler...nothing ever touched his mouth {he is clearly a germ-a-phobe just like his mommy}. Not this girl...that is how she tests stuff out I guess..straight to the mouth...drives me crazy! I am constantly wiping her hands and washing everything!
I know every momma says this but I so wish I could just bottle her up right now and stop her from growing...I just LOVE her spirit, her little personality and the fact that she loves her momma {and daddy too I guess! :) }
We took her 6 month pictures yesterday and she was a champ! I can't wait to see the beautiful pictures Erin took! :) Here are some of her recently :)
