our amazing little boy...

Every day I thank the Lord for blessing us with seriously...the most amazing child. I sit back this morning and can NOT believe he is already almost 9 months old...he has brought an incredible amount of joy and happiness to us. More than I EVER imagined. I never thought I could love anything or anyone as much as I loved my husband...boy was I wrong...this little man is our whole world...I haven't had a bad day in 8 months, 3 weeks and 6 days. Not.one. I have never cried with him or because of him. If I was guaranteed all of my children would be as mellow, happy, healthy and as perfect as him, I would have 10. I am petrified of having another child right now because I know the chances of us getting two great babies is prrrroobbably slim to none :)
A few things that make him perfect...in our eyes OF COURSE...

* I put him to sleep for his naps and bedtime wide awake and he puts himself to sleep
* He has slept through the night since he was 4 months old
* He laughs at anything and everything
* Anyone can always get him to crack a smile, even when he is beyond tired
* He will allow anyone to hold him
* He loves now to lay his head on mommy and daddy's shoulder...I knew I would get him to eventually love to cuddle!
* I can't remember the last time he cried
* He is perfectly content sitting on the floor with one or two toys for hours
* He isn't a fan of TV....the only thing he watches is Baby Einstein and that is maybe once every two weeks
* He is an INCREDIBLE eater (for now). He eats any and all flavors of food, I have tried some of his baby food and it makes me gag...he smiles as he swallows it.
* He has never taken a pacifier
* He is the happiest baby in the mornings...when he wakes up he talks to himself for at least 30 minutes before I go in there...as soon as he sees me he has the biggest smile on his face and starts kicking his feet and waving his hands frantically...melts my heart
* He LOVES bath time, all we have to say is 'bath time bath time' and his legs and arms start going
* He laughs when we pour water right over his face in the bath..something we started super young so he would never be afraid of it
* He talks A LOT...
* He is so lazy...but I love it...he has no desire to crawl, doesnt even roll over much and stands only when we want him to
* When he sneezes he ends it with a 'ahhhhh' like 'achooahhhhhhh' Hilarious
* He laughs when Bailey walks into the room
* As soon as daddy opens the door from work and he hears his voice he looks around for him and unleashes a HUGE grin as soon as he sees him.
* He has a thing for blondes...
* Gymbo the clown, from Gymboree is his favorite. If he starts getting the slightest bit fussy...we sing 'Gymbo the clown...' instant smile.
* He loves being up on daddy's shoulders

- Now if only we could get him to take a bottle or sippy cup...well he would be totally perfect... haha :)

our visit to the 'emerald city'...

Over Valentines Weekend we headed up north to Seattle for 4 days of exploring! We had such an incredible time. My Aunt and Uncle live about 30 minutes from Seattle so we got to visit with them for a couple of days, they got to see Tyler for the first time and we had such an incredible time. Even though Heath has been to Seattle hundreds of times for work, I still made him be a tourist with me...I am a sucker for sight seeing. So we went up in the Space Needle, and had an AMAZING Valentine's Dinner at Ivar's on the water.

Boarding the plane!

Check out my sweet photography skills...haha
