Tips & Tricks to save some dough!
These are just some things I have learned over the years to help save money here and there...I want to share them with my awesome readers!
1. Check our receipt when you eat out at restaurants! A lot of restaurants offer either something free (Mimi's offers a free 6 pack of muffins for example) or an amount off your next time you dine in (Ruby's offers $2 off, etc) just for taking a super quick survey. They are usually online or over the phone and rarely longer than 5 minutes. I usually take the survey while we are driving home in the car from my phone so I remember, then write down the offer code and put it in my wallet! Easy peasy! :)
2. Library...I LOVE the library...for obvious reasons...you get to read free books/magazines and check out top movies for super cheap...well I JUST discovered a new service my library offers...FREE MP3 downloads...WHAT!? Yes...like iTunes...but free. My library offers 3 free song downloads a week from a site called www.frugalmusic.com. Go get yourself a library card...log into your library website and see if they offer...you have to access the frugal music site through your library site and log in. 3 songs a week! I happen to be a library card holder for 3 local cities, so I get 9 songs a week...oh and my husband has a card too...now we are up to 12 songs a week! That's an album a week! Free! They of course don't offer every.single.artist. but they sure do have a ton! Check out your library's website!
