happy happy birthday to my sweet baby boy...

How is it possible you are already 3...I can remember the day you were born like it was yesterday.  You have become the most sweet, caring boy.  You aren't the 'typical' rough.getintoeverything.jumpoffwalls. type boy and thank goodness..because Lord know you have the most worrisome momma on the planet...I literally wake up in the middle of the night and picture him diving head first at the park into the ground or hitting his head on the metal bars....I know...freak.  I can't help it and thank goodness you are a mellow boy.

I will say your personality is blooming right now...you are literally a 13 year old trapped in a 3 year old's body.  Scary enough...I see a lot of my stubbornness in you.  Some of the attitude you give me..I am pretty sure I have given to my mom at one point or another...Probably just one time...right mom? ;)  Payback...but to be honest... I wasn't expecting this attitude for another 10 years.  Let's hope you are just 'getting it out of the way now?' deal?

I LOVE watching you with your sister...you absolutely adore her {even when you are shoving the pacifier in her mouth because her crying is 'too loud,'}  You love sports, cars, trucks and trains...all boy here.  You call everyone your friend, you talk to e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e. everywhere we go.  We have met TONS of people in our 'town' because of this little man.  At first it was awkward, but we have learned to embrace it.  You call the girl you have a little crush on at the gym 'baby girl,' you tell baby sister she is beautiful.  I did a little birthday questionnaire tonight and will post it soon.  I got it all on video and can't wait to do it again next year and see how much has changed.

Me and your dad LOVE how you find a way to make us laugh daily, you are way too smart for your age, and it's not always 'cute.'  Hate to say it but sometimes I look at your dad and ask him when you turned into a teenager.

I love you to pieces and can't wait to see what age 3 has in store for you. :)  But one thing I hope you do...is slow down...stop growing so fast...this sentimental momma can't handle it.

It's been a SUPER long day...so momma hasn't downloaded all of the pics from your birthday dinner yet, so for now...here is the best pic I have of my little boy, and after my aunt saw this pic of him today, she couldn't have said what she did any better 'Looks like he is really laughing from the heart!'  That's my sweetheart!

2 wheelin' 2 year old named tyler...

Say that 5 times fast ;)  That's right, I reached my goal...we got this kiddo riding a 2 wheeler before he turned 3...yahooo!! Just barely...made the deadline by 5 days ;)

I can thank all of this success to this bad boy...

These balance bikes are seriously amazing...Tyler literally runs on it and lifts his feet and glides the length of a football field with his feet up and has been doing so for months.  He LOVES this bike...so we finally convinced him that if you add pedals....you can go EVEN.FASTER.  He said 'No Way!?' and a few days later of just 5 minutes a day training him...he nailed it...

Now he isn't 'perfect' but he 'gets it'  Don't get me wrong he still wants to ride the balance bike above, because he's comfortable on it...but he's got this whole bike riding thing down...I only got 2 videos before my memory card was full on my camera and it was the first run...but you get the idea :)  

So proud of my little man...guess what he is getting for his bday in 5 days...possibly some elbow pads, knee pads, gloves, a cup, lol jk about the last part...but seriously how did he grow up this fast?  Not cool little dude...not cool. But this momma is proud of ya! 

Oh...and whats up with dad and papa gettin' all the credit here....mommy has broken her back for the last week trying to get him on this thing...ha! 

serena's wedding day!

One of my girlfriends from college, my sorority sister Serena got married!!  Ok, Serena, I love you girl but the day I found out you got engaged and were getting married...I was pretty darn shocked I must say..the girl who said she would never be married.  We had some pretty darn good times in our single days I must admit and she has some pretty incredible stories about dating, but I am VERY happy to say I am SO glad she settled down with an amazing man {from what I have heard!}

She got married on Mother's Day and I have the best momma ever..she agreed to watch BOTH kiddos for us so we could go enjoy ourselves...well...as we all know...Brielle is struggling with the bottle...a week before the wedding, panic set in...so we got a hotel a couple of miles from the wedding, so I could literally feed and run and hope for the best.

Little Miss Brielle was quite the trooper..I fed her at 5:00, she took down about half of an ounce and slept until 5:00 am, I 'kind of woke her up' because I was in desperate need of relief :)

The wedding was at Wilson Creek Winery...GORGEOUS..the setting was absolutely beautiful and I think Serena said they were only the 4th people to get married there...the details were awesome....she did such a great job!
