I seriously keep looking at my blogger thinking this must be a joke right?? I seriously feel like I just wrote a college paper that took hours and then forgot to hit save...but this time I KNOW I hit save...I'm on the verge of tears...so this post is a lot shorter and not as fun as the first one...hmmph
Anyway...an 'anonymous' comment on my last post today rally kicked my booty in gear for this post tonight...so thank you for that! We have been pretty busy the past two weeks moving in, it's been super crazy because we are so anal about everything being super organized and being put in the perfect spot...so it is taking us 10 times as long to move in and unpack...must do it right the first time...right?

Both kids fell asleep in the new house for the first time...still shocked that T fell asleep on the floor..that is a first..so mommy and daddy got some work done for those quiet 2 hours...

T's last night in his crib...of course I had to document it...yes I know...3 years old and still in a crib...I guess I just don't want my baby boy to ever grow up :( Look how big he looks!

Let the construction begin in the new house...
So Heath got this 'once in a lifetime' opportunity {more on that below} and happened to be out of town the weekend we moved in...so my momma spent the first 3 nights in our new house with me and the kids...with no fridge, no TV, no furniture (except beds)...Heath sent me a picture of him in the Diamond club or whatever with his drinks...so we sent him this...
We were going a little crazy at this point.

Mom and I cleaned out the garage for our 'big surprise' the next day :)

So...this 'once in a lifetime opportunity' I talked about that caused him to be away for the weekend...yeah well Heath grew up with Tiger Woods and graduated high school with him...I know..random, well anyway one of Heath's great friends who also has been friends with Tiger since high school is the VP of the TW Foundation and got Heath and 2 friends tickets to the AT&T National Golf Tourney last weekend...so I 'let' him go..I guess... :) It was right about this time he called me and asked me to arrange for a moving truck on Tuesday when he got back...it took everything in me to stop from sending him this picture.
By the end of the day...these guys were my BFF's...I mean...I spent 4 hours in the heat, working our butt's off...yup I hired movers while the hubs was gone..I'll take my 'Wife of the Year' trophy on the mantle shined up please :) These guys were hilarious..after I 'warmed them up' we chatted the whole 4 hours. They told me #1 I was the first girl in the 5 years they have been doing this to not tell their husband about them... ;) and #2 I was the first girl to help them move the entire time and not complain about it...I mean...let's be honest...I KNOW I hired THEM to move, but after 10 minutes of just standing around WATCHING them move...I got a little antsy...so I jumped in and offered to help...they looked like deers in headlights...they ended up being super nice and we filled this truck to the brim.
Ta Da! Believe it or not...this storage unit was filled to the brim, top to bottom, left to right...in fact when you opened the door to it you had to dodge stuff from falling out on you...
Then we had to UNLOAD it all...ugh it was a lot of freaking work!
All the while...Heath sends me THIS picture in the middle of my hot mess moving day...must be nice...hangin' with your old high school buddies, livin' it up..while I am working my tail off...I was again SOOO tempted to send him a picture of my with MY friends...all sweaty and beat.
PS - H will do a blog post on his awesome trip soon! We seriously haven't had much time to talk about it that I am even anxious to hear about his adventures! :)
Oh and great job Tiger...he won that day :)
The next day, our sweet neighbors mailed us this..I think we will like it here...
Then he sends me this picture on his way home...must be nice mr. first class..go ahead enjoy your 'pod' while I am slaving away with two kids and moving an entire house...go ahead and have a few drinks and take a little nap while you are at it...I've got us covered...no worries at all...
Well about 5 seconds minutes before H got home, I decided to make this sign and have T hold it
I say 'get even' because he moved us into the last house we bought all by himself while I was in New York for work...::ahem:: I won't mention the fact that we didn't have two kids and a heck of a lot more stuff now :: ahem :: but it's okay..I guess we are 'even' :)
The look on his face was priceless when he read the sign and I opened the garage to all of our crap! :) He was pretty stoked if I do say so myself...where is that trophy again?? :)
I took video too but it was too dark that it didn't come out so...eh...you get the picture...{deer.in.headlights.big.smile}
I keep debating posting the pictures of our house on here...I have a ton 'before' and am slowly accumulating the 'after' pics...I am still a little scurred of the internet creepos...so for now I will just do a few and see what happens...but I will save the house pics for the next post...so until then...it is now almost 1:00 am...I haven't gone to bed this late in ages...but I was SO pissed I couldn't sleep and had to finish this post I started 3 hours ago....thanks blogger...
