no, not those kind...unfortunately :)
Today (4/5) was shot day for little princess. I make the choice to get them all, but I spread them out. I won't get on my soap box about them, but I FOR SURE, 100% want my child protected from all of the crap in our world...and have done MORE than enough research on both sides...so I do get them all. So anyway...this morning we went to her appointment and at 6.5 weeks, she is a whopping 11 pounds, 1 ounce and 22.5 inches! Holy moly! And here I was thinking my supply was depleting...well..guess not! :) She is in the 75th percentile for height, weight and head circumference (15.25 inches). I was expecting that horrible pain scream but she never did it...she cried a little...(Tyler and I left the room for the shots, and made dada do the dirty job of holding her down) But we stood outside and I was expecting worse...guess she is like her momma and has a high tolerance for pain :) ha!
She has been a champ all day too. Smiling like normal and happy as can be! A little fussy tonight or whenever I touch her thigh where her shot went in, but nothing I didn't expect.
Not too happy about the docs
I will say again I am SO thankful this girl is so good and mellow...it definitely helps the transition of adding another human to the household. I distinctly remember DREADING going to bed at night with Tyler because I knew he would be up 2 hours later and every hour or two after that all night long...I HATED bed time. I also remember he wanted to nurse all.day.long. and it was SOOO painful the first 3 months. She would eat only 3 times a day if I let her, but I don't (obviously...see weight gain above...yikes) Last night she slept 8 hours...WHAT!? Yeah...of course I didn't because I kept waking up to make sure she was still breathing!
Anyway...as soon as we left her appointment we headed to mine...all is good there...and I am cleared to exercise! Yippee!! I have never been so excited for exercising! Then ate some lunch in Balboa at BJ's...yummm...and I may or may not have had a beer... ;) It was our pit stop...from there we headed to Laguna for Bailey's shots. We had quite the busy day at the doctors. I told Heath it was the first time we had our WHOLE family in the car at the same time (Bailey included) :)
Here are some random pictures from last week...

Funny business at nana's house...
Happy girl waiting for her friend Cora to visit!
Cora and Brielle...10 days apart :) BFF's already :)
So this little princess poops once every 5 days or so and let me tell you when she finally does go...she REALLY does go...this was minutes before I was walking out the door to meet my BFF...turned into a 20 minute cleanup, bath and discarding of the outfit...holy moly...
Dada put on Brielle's first pair of shoes ever...I was hoping for ballet slippers or something a little more girly for her first pair of shoes on those precious feet...but eh...whatcha gonna do...Tyler wore these shoes once too :) They will probably only fit her for another week at the rate she is growing...they didn't match her outfit so they come off minutes later... ;) haha
Brielle lost all of her hair :( She's rockin the old man do' and I was trying to get a good picture...
Someone wishes he was a baby again...I can not believe how big he looks in that thing! He lived in that the first year of his life...tear ;(

Oh...one thing I just remembered and have to document it so I don't forget this nonsense. In the waiting room at Brielle's doc there was a lady sitting next to me with an empty stroller...it took me a couple of minutes to figure it out. Sitting ACROSS the room from her was her son (probably about 6 months old? and the nanny). I first thought the nanny was his mom, and then kept looking at the empty stroller...it wasn't until the mom was on the phone talking louder than she should have been about her old nanny who quit on her after 7 weeks trying to get another $750 out of her for her unused vacation week and how she has to change all of her passwords, blah blah and that she is trying out a new nanny...blah blah...all the while this poor nanny is dealing with this child who is not happy. The mom could literally care less. Didn't even look in the direction of her poor son. The nanny was great, the mom made my blood boil. To each their own but I am sorry I could NEVER sit back with my feet up on the phone with my girlfriends talking about nothing of importance while my child was crying for me on the opposite side of the room with a stranger (this nanny was new). When they called the boy back the mom remained on her phone talking about getting her 'line' to celebrities...give me a break! I almost thought her whole conversation was fake...it was THAT shocking...I managed to snap a few pics. haha shhhhh! Welcome to Newport Beach..makes me wonder why people like that even have kids...I am going to pray for that poor little boy.
That's her at the top (eeek I am being brave for posting this of a stranger...hopefully no one out there that reads my little ole' blog knows this lady...:)
The nanny and the poor boy who just wants his mommy!
