last blog of 2009...

I am very ready to get to 2010....2009 was a great year in some ways and horrible in others...so I guess we are even :) By far the BEST thing in 2009 was Tyler being born....the worst was losing a great friend of ours - PR)...and a bunch of little good and bad things in between...

I don't believe in resolutions but I do believe in fresh starts..

So here are some things I hope to do in 2010....

1. Organize my house...I am an organization freak and when things are not in their place I go crazy....literally...so this year I plan to get the entire house organized and keep it that way.

2. I am starting this organization with a Tupperware party in 2 weeks...yeah yeah...laugh all you want...ha...I laugh at myself for this...but after seeing my Mother in Laws pantry...I want the same...you open it and its like a total ah ha moment...gorgeous and fresh! PS - I had NO idea Tupperware parties still existed...this is all new to me...but I am welcoming change.

3. Now that things with a new baby have settled down a bit I hope to make more time for my friends...I dedicated most of 2009 to my family and plan to continue this...but want to see my amazing friends more often...the once a month bunco thing isn't cuttin' it for me!...I think I have the best ones in the world...and I want to be with them more.

4. Cook at least once a week...ha...I know...laugh again...I actually enjoy cooking...it's just that I really have NO time...with 2 jobs and a new baby...even working from home...no time...

5. This brings me to #5...prioritize my time better...I am all over the place...can't stay focused...I blame it on T...but I have to stop that...he is 7 months old now...I should have gotten my brain back by now right?

6. I got this idea from my Moms group...and I am so excited to do it...plan little things for H like I used to...I used to make him cards, breakfast, coffee, little presents, etc...I'm totally slipping in this department...sorry honey :)

7. And my last one for now...because the longer the list gets...the less likely I am to do it all...I am REALLY going to try to get to bed before midnight and get up before 7 everyday. I feel more productive in the morning and T doesn't get up until around 9 or 10 so I need to use that time instead of the 8-1am I have been doing.

Can't wait to pop open a bottle of bubbly and enjoy some family/friend time tonight...might even go bowling...yeah!

I hope everyone has a VERY Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year! Be safe tonight! XOXO

disneyland!

Grandma and Grandpa Thomas got us Disneyland passes this year for Christmas, so all of us Thomas' went to Disneyland the day before Christmas Eve. We had such a good time. We were there 9 hours and Tyler did so good...he LOVED it...He even went on 4 rides....Small World, the Train, Pirates of the Caribbean and even the Haunted Mansion! It was so fun watching him look at everything. Small world was definitely his favorite...I got tears in my eyes watching him look at everything with a huge smile. Seeing things through a child's eyes is priceless...I never understood that until now....and it's only just begun...such an amazing day with the family.

The new small world is amazing...so cute at the holidays

His eyes and head have never moved so fast...looking everywhere!

We took Tyler to see the Christmas lights this year with Grandma and Grandpa Thomas...and we chose to WALK...yes WALK...99% of people DRIVE...hmmm...we chose to WALK in the 50 degree weather...it was about an hour and a half to 2 hours...but so worth it..we saw a lot more walking...and I needed it...let me tell you! The lights were AWESOME! Definitely some of the best! Thank goodness for the hot chocolate being sold! :)

Party #2 Annual friends party...its was a little different this year because we all have kiddos! So much fun...I didn't take too many pictures..well...because we were a little busy! It was a little early for the big guy...

Ok, so some of the pictures were dark...because...I got this and we couldn't quite figure out how to use it, so it was covering the flash...but once we got it figured out...it did wonders! Thank you Aunt Donna! :)
