september fun..

Things have been quite busy around here....as I am sure you have noticed from the lack of posts...I am working on managing my time...still...this new house, new baby, new job and now new car thing is really getting to me....too much 'new'! 

Here is a teeny 'sliver' of what we have been up to...

We bought a brand new car...in our living room, totally randomly...I guess that's what you do when you live next to the owner of a car dealership!  Went green and bought a hybrid..we have had two BIG SUV's for a while and it feels good to get more than 14mpg.... :)

The projects around the house are never ending...never...got all the trees trimmed up

Last Saturday I was at my wit's end...I felt like I had tried everything with Brielle and her horrible eczema...look at my poor poor baby's legs?  You name it, I have tried it....well...we FINALLY found an answer...last week..more on that in my next blog post... :(

We got out first date night in a REALLY long time..just the two of us...so we didn't eat until 8 :GASP:, had some really tall beers, drove to really random bars and just enjoyed the two of us for once!

I have never been to this infamous cougar bar so we thought we would try it out...thank goodness they had a 'no flip flops and collared shirt only' rule...saved me from this madness Heath was trying to talk me into! 

Driving around looking for a fun place to go...even if it was only a couple of hours out...it was AMAZING....love you boo :)

We attended a GORGEOUS wedding....my lil' bro from college days and his beautiful WIFE!

It was right about here when my BFF Erynn text me her water broke and she was going to the hospital!  Wha? The ONE day I told her she couldn't go into labor..More on that later.. :)

Even though I don't bleed maroon and gold it was pretty cool to listen to the SID from USC talk to our boys at school about Social Media and media prep....

Thanks Jen for this idea....Tyler is driving us c.r.a.z.y. and we are pretty much at our wits end with him....so I implemented a sticker program....lets see how it goes...pray for us! 

Up next..Brielle is 7 months...her 6 month pro pictures, our anniversary, and theme park hoppers :)  I hope to catch up this weekend! Happy Friday!

tyler starts PRE-SCHOOL?!

What?  When did my baby boy get so big???  On September 4th he started Pre-School!  This was a very bitter-sweet day.  I am so proud of the little man he has become but so sad he isn't my baby anymore.  So the Thursday before pre-school started, Heath and I worked from home so we could attend his preschool orientation.  We dropped him off in his class and went next door to meet the teachers {Miss Shelly & Miss Laura}.  THAT alone was hard enough....I haven't ever left my little one with a 'stranger' before...ugh!!  Anyway...all went well and he didn't want to leave when it was time to go {go figure!}  I am SOOO glad his buddy Kaleb and him are in the same class....makes me feel so much better knowing he has a little friend in the class!

Ok, need to backtrack a little here...about a month ago we took Brielle to Disneyland for the first time!! We went with my momma, and first stop was at the Rainforest Cafe...we sat outside on the patio and it was great!  We visited Cars Land {huge hit with the little man!}
