x-games

On Saturday we went to the x-games to watch cousin Brandon race! We were so excited to cheer him on. I think he had the biggest crowd there! There were about 50 of us in the section cheering for him...we got there early with the kids and hung out in the motorhome for a while....then it was race time!

Mark Burkhart is Brandon's teammate and good friend...he won X-Games last year and was expected to win again this year, but took a really hard fall in the beginning...we were sooo sad...

That night Brandon wanted to celebrate so we took the boys to Grandma and Grandpa's and went the the Standard in LA for a night of celebration with BC! :)

Next weekend we are heading to Connecticut to watch Brandon WIN again :) Can't wait! :)

This weekend we got to watch our nephews ALLL weekend! The first night we planned to take them to the Orange County Fair, but when we got closer to the exit...we decided against that...so we settled for Balboa...

Last weekend we drove out to Vegas to see Mike play baseball...we had a great time with Sonja and Mike. Even though it was a quick trip, we always have a blast with them! After his game we went and saw Bobby Slayton (comedian) and gambled until 2 am...I still don't know how 8 month pregnant Sonja did it! She is a real trooper! :) Here are some horrible pics...but at least some to document our trip! :)

We stayed downtown, because it was close to the field and that is where they were staying...that was quite an experience...its a whole new Vegas down there...haha...

our new car!

The pictures below is our old tahoe...before we put new rims on it...these pics were taken about a year ago...

Bye, bye old beat up tahoe....

So today....we got a new Tahoe, its in so much better condition then our old beat-up one you see above!!!! ...this is where we went to get it...isn't it nice????

We followed our friend in the truck....

Then we arrived at our new tahoe's home! We took one look at this place and KNEW it was going to be a great experience...they did such a great job making it look inviting...

So here it is! Our new Tahoe....don't you just love it? We couldn't take our eyes off of it once we saw the pictures...oh we couldn't go in and see all the cars because of security reasons, so the nice man just took pictures for us...

This is the front...it's a new look...grills aren't the cool thing to have anymore...


We figured it would be easier to roll the windows up and down with just connecting the wires...oh wait...we got it WITHOUT windows...thats right....even better..


We don't need mirrors either...they are way overrated...no one uses them anyway...



And since we are going to install a new radio, we told them we didn't want that either...

Heath likes starting cars with screwdrivers..i know...weird...right? So we had them fix it up for us so we didn't have to use a key...



Now the rims...we couldn't decide which ones we likes, so we had them put 4 different wheels on, we will decide later which one we like best... We had them take the running boards and roof racks off too...who needs those?

And what do you know....on our way, we ran into this guy, our new friend...apparently he sells rims? See the '22" Bitches' on the side of his car...well there was a number on the back, and since his car looked so nice with those 22" rims, we thought we would ask him where he can get us some new ones....he's gonna hook us up...


So now you have seen most of our new car...we are going to take it to Vegas this weekend so we had them take all of the seats out...to make room for all of our friends...we figure we can put at least 15 peeps in there, so if you want to go to Vegas with us...let me know ASAP, spots are fillin up fast! Oh, and if you are wondering how Heath is going to drive with no seat...we got it with a lawn chair...so its mobile...we can remove it when we want to sleep in it...much more room that way!
