Ok, I am getting waaayy to far behind on this blog....I plan to catch up this week....
So the last part of our trip was to New York City! Heath's parents had never been there, so we decided to give them a little tour! I just love that place! I will never get sick of going there!

Heath wanted a picture of the Dark Night poster

The view from our hotel room

Taxi's everywhere...as usual! :)

The other side of our room

Heath with Sean John in the background...haha

Off to the biggest Toys R US! I thought the sign was appropriate for us...ha

I had to get a picture of Heath and his dad buying a hot dog!

Juggler in Central Park...that place is amazing...

Norma had her first beer on our trip!

Off to see a Broadway show!!

It was AMAZING....

After the show we went to the View Restaraunt at the top of the Marriott...we had no idea it was a rotating bar until we got up there and I noticed we were moving....it was expensive but an amazing place with the best views....the pictures don't do it justice...that is the Empire State Building in the picture above...

The next day we took a subway to Lower Manhattan to head to the Empire State Building....La needs a subway system! It was an adventure!

After standing in a VERY long line, in the VERY hot sun....we made it on the boat...bye bye NYC (for now)

The beautiful Statue of Liberty...

Waiting in ANOTHER long line...

The original torch from the Statue that they had to take down a couple of years ago due to erosion...

A replica of the Statue of Liberty's foot...huge!

After hiking up about 7 stories of VERY narrow stairs..we made it to the highest viewing point available to the public....this is the inside of the Statue!

View of NYC from the Statue..

Ellis Island and New Jersey!

The Thomas'

Bye, bye Statue....back to the city...

While walking on the street, there was a sports show going on and we were right up to the window...waiving like idiots...haha

Our bartenders....they were drinking with us :)

On our walk back to the hotel...we were on a hunt for these hats we saw the day before...we joked about getting one for Adam, who was watching Bailey all week, but agreed it wouldn't be funny unless we were drinking....well....that night we were definitely drinking and it was definitely hilarious to us...I think it was one of those 'you had to be there' type things...

It was about 2:00 am and these guys were in Times Square making these hats....we were so excited they were still there!

It took them about 20 minutes to make the hat....Heath got bored and started walking around....here is a wall in Times Square

The next and last day we had a couple of hours before our flight, so we did a little shopping (of course) :) Here we are at FAO Schwartz....that place is amazing...

And here we are at the NBA store (we bought two Laker shirts there...tee hee) and here is Heath measuring up to the basketball players....and here I though he was tall at 6'4" :)
We had so much fun on our East Coast trip, but were excited to get home....
Our plane ended up being delayed and we had a connection in Dallas to Orange County....needless to say...we didn't make the connection so tried everything we could to get on any flight...they were all delayed because of Thunderstorms. We ended up getting on a flight to Dallas and then to LAX...but our luggage was going to Orange County....we ended up getting into LA around midnight and had to pick our luggage up from Orange County the next day...it was a crazy day of travel but we did make it home! :)
