big bear!!!

The day before Christmas Eve, Heath's very good friend Jason and his wife Holly invited us up to Big Bear to stay with them! We were so excited!! We haven't been up there in a while and were excited to see all the snow they had just gotten!! We went out for pizza when we got there at an AMAZING pizza place, then we went home and played some Taboo...and OF COURSE me and Holly kicked Heath & Jay's boootay....then the next morning, the three boys woke up and went sledding behind the cabin...I am so bummed, I took those pics on my other camera and can't get them off of there...it was hilarious!

christmas boat parades!

So this year we attended TWO boat parades! I just love Christmas and always try to take it ALL in, because it comes and goes way too fast! So this year, Heath and I invited our friends Erynn, Patrick and their son Will to the Eastlake Boat Parade in Yorba Linda. Patrick was out of town but Erynn and Will still joined us...it was freezing but fun!

Then the next weekend we went ON a boat in the Newport Harbor Boat Parade...our boat was not decorated...but next year it will be, we learned..LOL...it was lots of fun, but my camera died...oops...so I didn't get many pics

ucla vs. usc

In December we went to the famous UCLA vs. USC game at the Rose Bowl....we got there SUPER early and hung out all day!! I think we were there something like 14 hours...craziness!!

christmas time....

I love love love Christmas...I love decorating with Christmas music blaring, Carmel Apple Ciders from Starbucks, the smell of a fresh Christmas Tree, Christmas scented candles, wrapping presents, eating all of the delicious food and not feeling one bit guilty about it, holiday parties, seeing family and friends, vacation time from work, rain and cold weather, turning the heater on, having a fire in the fireplace, Christmas movies, Christmas lights, crazed shopping malls, opening Christmas cards, seeing the joy on little kids faces, and most of all seeing Santa! :)
