merry merry christmas!

So today marks Tyler's 1st Christmas and he is one spoiled brat lucky kid. We started off the day with some family at our house at 8:00 am....Tyler opened his presents from Santa...that was super fun, even though he was way more interested in the paper than the presents... This quote explained our morning perfectly...

“The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.” ―Burton Hilli

one of the best Christmas mornings I have had in a long time...I think our family & friends spoiled us rotten were pretty nice to us too :)

Here are a couple things we were blessed with this year....

yeah right...haha

Now for the REAL stuff...

The Kindle!!!! So excited about this!

Blu Ray for Heath

Love this necklace with Tyler's name and birthstone

We have now had to officially convert our dining room into T's play area...sad...but glad we have a little space just for him, and glad he isn't taking over our living room anymore! Who knew such a little person could take over an entire house :)

We are so thankful for everyone in our lives, Christmas reminds us every year of how wonderful it is to have such a wonderful family and an amazing group of friends. We love and cherish all of you and definitely would not be where we are today without each and every one of you.

Also...congratulations to our cousin Brandon for FINALLY asking the woman of his dreams...pretty much one of my favorite people....Kaelin...to be his wife! We could not be happier for the two of you! Such an incredible day!

merry christmas...from our family to yours!

santa = success

So Tyler has now been on Santa's lap THREE times...and all...thankfully have been successful, I know next year will be MUCH different...which is the reason for the THREE times...got to get them all in while we can :)

First time at Erin's house for our Mom's GTG!

2nd Time at South Coast Plaza (Heath's co-worker is Santa here!)

And the 3rd at our annual Family Christmas party with my dad's side of the family...

I even got my big boy on Santa's lap...but I heard about it after..eek...

o' christmas tree....

So we make it a tradition every year to get a REAL tree, and get it from a fresh lot here in Orange...Peltzer Pines. They even let you cut down your own tree...but we usually let them do it :) Maybe when Tyler gets older, that can be a fun thing him and dad do together! I remember helping my dad do it when I was young. I LOVE the smell of a FRESH Christmas tree...I love the whole experience of walking the lot and the rows and rows of trees, every shape and size...I love everything about it...I vow to never get a fake tree...even though they are gorgeous, low mintenance, clean and easy to set up (especially the ones with the lights in them!) but I just can't bring myself to do it :) So here we are..Tyler's first tree hunting experience...

First stop...Hot Chocolate at the front

This picture does my tree NO justice....I LOVE my tree this year...lots of new ornaments....went with a red and green theme! Yeah! :)

Merry Christmas Everyone! :)
